..Weekly:
The £20 Pub Quiz - Every Tuesday from 8:00 until 10:00pm
No more than 6 members per Team @ £1 per person each.
Pay an extra £1 for a chance at the Snowball Question*
Eight rounds of ten questions on anything and everything.
You can also volunteer to be a Quiz Master - please see bar staff for more details and to check the diary.
Tables can now be reserved for Quiz teams - let the bar staff know
* If your Snowball ticket is drawn, answer the question correctly for a prize of up to £200 or take it back to your team to answer correctly and win half.
Pool Night - Every Tuesday from 7:30pm (dependent on League)
If you enjoy the game of Pool, come along and introduce yourself to get involved. Supporters are welcome for both Home and Away matches.
Monthly:
Quizzical Lunch - First Thursday of every Month from 12:30pm
Six relaxed rounds of Questions with the option of lunch served to your table. Make up a team or join a team...
Open Mic Night - Second Wednesday of the Month from 6:30 until 9:30pm
Bring along an instrument and join in or simply come along to listen, your choice. Food is also available, so have a bite while being serenaded...
Annually:
The Duke Jingle - First day of December
To mark the start of the Christmas Advent Windows the Duke will unveil the first window in the pub at 6 o'clock. On the night, there is a mini-Christmas market supporting local charitable organisations and local businesses. The pub garden hosts a Christmas light display that gets bigger and better every year, plus we mustn't forget Christmas carols being performed by St Andrews School’s school choir. Hot food is served and all are welcome.
